How it works
Egyptian hieroglyphs included a set of signs that each wrote a single sound, and Egyptologists use them as an "alphabet" for spelling modern names, the same convention every museum chart follows. Each of your letters maps to the sign for its nearest Egyptian sound.
An honest word: the Egyptians wrote consonants and left most vowels unwritten, so any modern name in hieroglyphs is an approximation by nature. Ours says so right on the result.
The best part is what the signs picture: an owl, a quail chick, folded cloth, a lion at rest. The breakdown below reads your name sign by sign.
